One of Hot Mama's favorite dried chilies, the chile de arbol is deeply earthy and flavorful. Toasting the chili peppers with garlic in peanut oil allows their heat to blossom and turn nutty and extra delicious. Put this oil on grilled meats and roasted vegetables, toss it with noodles, stir it into soups and stews, or drizzle it over pizza. Heat Level: Hot
